Jennifer, a nail salon owner of @thenailroomsf, and Shane a software consultant for a project management company, both come from the Bay area of San Fransico. The last time they visited Kauai was about 8 years ago (2011). During that visit, they actually stayed at Poipu’s Sheraton Kauai Resort, not knowing that they would later be saying their I Do’s in that same location for their white modern tropical wedding!

Weddings come in all shapes, sizes, and styles… and boy does this couple have style!

Once Jennifer and Shane knew that the @sheratonkauai was the special place, they booked a wedding package where they were provided a list of preferred vendors. However, they were looking for more! Taking planning into their own hands they reached our to various vendors to find the exact items they were looking for to achieve their wedding vision… modern, white, rose gold, elegant, and geometric shapes. (I’ll let the photos tell it all!)

Jennifer was a fun bride to work with, her vision and ideas were ambitious yet elegant. A clear top tent draped with cafe lights, twinkle lights, and soft white draping created the base for this wedding look. Rose gold geometric pendants hung delicately from the tent to add a modern flare. White linens, white chairs, and white florals made for a very beautiful monochromatic look with lots of greenery and touches of rose gold. Florals were a high priority for Jennifer and Shane. They chose wisely by working with @kealohaflowerswho nailed the floral arrangements that were just about everywhere! From the dark wood arch, the reception tables, and the peacock chairs at the sweetheart table. It really made their theme lush and tying in the tropical beauty of Kauai.

DONUT JUDGE ME!

Now, Jennifer and Shane had a little more up their sleeve! Adding to the already gorgeous look they also had a handful of add-ons that took their wedding to the next level. @hilightinstallations provided a custom bar facade which made you feel fancy getting a cocktail. For dessert, there were two options! Ono (Hawaiian word for delicious) shave ice directly from @thefreshshave truck and a donut wall, from @thehawaiianphotobus, that was a statement in its self. And that’s not all folks! Totally surprising their guests, Jennifer and Shane arranged a to have a fire knife dancer for Polynesian entertainment. And to end the night with a bang, these newlyweds had an epic sparkler send-off (actually my first one!)

As a result of lots of planning, attention to detail, and a natural niche for style, Jennifer and Shane killed their wedding look while having a wonderful time celebrating with their family and friends. Their white modern tropical wedding will definitely be a top number in my books!

Shout out to all of these vendors! We appreciate your teamwork + passion!
