Sometimes when you least expect it you meet that person that will completely change your life and the next thing you know you are having a tropical garden wedding in Hawaii. Carissa and Anthony weren’t even looking for a partner when they met each other. Their love story began with an accidental conversation in a bar and it was the easiest conversation either of them had ever had. All it took was this first meeting for them to know it was the start of something special.

Carissa and Anthony hosted their tropical wedding at Plantation Gardens Restaurant and Bar on the beautiful island of Kauai. Located on the on the sunny south side the venue features an array of breathtaking tropical gardens and is only a short walk from a white sandy beach.

Their tropical garden wedding took place under the old orchid trees and next to the tranquil koi ponds. Officiant and musician Tommy Tokioka played sweet local tunes as Carissa walked down the aisle. Anthony’s reaction to seeing his bride left no dry eye in the house.

The vibe for the rest of the day was really laid-back and fun with a lively dinner and dancing atmosphere courtesy of DJ/ MC Kustom Sounds Kauai. The decor featured bright, tropical florals and island greenery by Kealoha Flowers that complimented the natural flora of the venue’s gardens perfectly. This day was so special and family-oriented; every time loved ones who are no longer with us were spoken of there seemed to be a brief sprinkle of rain followed by a rainbow. It was truly beautiful.
