This island inspired soiree at Kualoa Ranch’s Paliku Gardens was the definition of love, aloha, and pure magic. Working with destination couples isn’t always easy, but it’s our specialty! Understanding a couple’s vision and truly connecting with them is the key is to make their vision come to life on their special day! This techy couple was so down to earth, fun-loving and let’s be honest, drop-dead gorgeous! Livi and Carlos envisioned an intimate celebration in the company of their closest family and friends with a tropical-inspired wedding; featuring bright, vibrant colors, and local florals… and that’s exactly what we made happen!!

Paliku Gardens is ideal for anyone that wants both views of the ocean and the epic Ko’olau Mountains all in one location. A ceremony at the Upper Garden was a no-brainer for Livi and Carlos. The sacred Kanehoalani Mountain Peak towers to one side and the Pacific Ocean and iconic Mokoli’i Island (aka Chinaman’s Hat) are on the other side.

From the ceremony to the reception, their wedding fully embodied the tropical island vibe. An abundance of bright native florals, a variety of local island greenery, string lighting, dusty rose table settings, and gold wooden laser cut place cards. Guests lounged on cozy lawn furniture, made memories in the 1965 retro VW photo booth bus, took photos next to an illuminated marquee aloha sign and enjoyed Hawaii-inspired cocktails at the bar.

The cherry on top of this blissful fairytale evening was an epic first dance made extra special with fountain sparklers. Livi and Carlos were literally glowing on so many levels!
