We love when couples have a special connection with Hawaii and then return to the islands to say I Do! Christine born and raised in Hawaii took a chance on a cute east coast boy who found himself living on Oahu… the rest was history! The couple now lives on the mainland but it was very important for them to return to the place they met and fell in love to celebrate their union. They celebrated with all their closest people with a modern tropical chic-inspired wedding!

What better place for a modern tropical chic-themed wedding than Kualoa ranch’s Paliku Gardens?! This design came together beautifully! The couple absolutely loved the venue’s natural beauty and wanted to compliment it with bright and tropical florals and decor in sunset colors. The palette featured white, pink, and yellow with temperate orange, red and lavender accents. The colors popped against the mountains and tropical greens. The tropical florals were complimented with ivory linens, dark wood cross-back chairs, farm tables, and gold flatware accents! 

Christine and Matt said their vows at Paliku’s upper garden with views of chinaman’s hat and Kaneohe bay as their backdrop. They stood before a gorgeous tropical adjourned circle arch as they said their vows and exchanged rings surrounded by their closest friends and family. Our favorite element of the ceremony was their four-legged ring bearer who traveled to Hawaii with them from California. We absolutely LOVE when a couple incorporates their dogs on the wedding day. Pups are part of the family too! 

This couple was all about the vibe and their guests having a great time. Their cocktail hour featured specialty cocktails from Stir Beverage, snacked on yummy eats from Memoirs, played lawn games, and mingled on a mid-century modern lounge set from Aloha Artisans! They then enjoyed dinner and a fully stacked program under a clear top tent with a marquee C & M sign glowed in the backdrop from Designed with Aloha. The night closed out on the dance floor, DJ Troy Michael had the entire group getting down!

This wedding day was an all-around success filled with love, laughter, and so much aloha. Without their stellar group of vendors, it wouldn’t have been possible to make Christine and Matt’s dream wedding come to life,
