#hongtelly2019

This California couple’s vibrant tropical celebration was filled with so much love and joy! With most of their guests traveling from California, Chantelle and Hong set out to create a beach-in-Hawaii wedding experience for their out-of-town guests. Tropical inspiration, bright colors, and little touches of Hawaii shone through in so many elements of their Lanikuhonua Cultural Estate wedding.

The vibrantly colored floral designs by Creative Concepts by Jeff set the tone for the day. Covered in tropical florals, this show-stopping ceremony backdrop was a double diamond geometric arbor! The geometric arbor trend is one we are totally on board with. It really creates a more updated, modern, and unique look for your wedding ceremony.

Reception Details

The reception sat beneath a clear-top tent with tons of cafe lights. Also hanging from their tent were rattan pendant lights from Roam Rentals that were filled with brilliant colored florals!

Tropical centerpieces popped against all-white linens. Custom vellum dinner menus, peach biscotti favors, and pink debutante glassware completed each guest’s place setting. Wooden hand-scripted table numbers, that the bride made herself, quickly became one of our favorite details! Seriously, it was like looking at a tropical garden wedding Pinterest Board!

Guests enjoyed live music by Akahi Productions while sipping on fresh Hawaiian inspired cocktails. and munching on yummy eats by Chef Elmer Island Cuisine. To finish off the evening, guests indulged in specialty desserts and a delicious semi-naked dripped wedding cake by A Cake Life. Chantelle and Hong’s special day was captured perfectly by Yair Haim Photography and Small Hour Films. Check it out for yourself below!
