This couple was literally the definition of epic and their Oahu adventure elopement was too!!! From the first conversation, we had with Liberty and George we instantly knew they were madly in love, down for anything and extreme adrenaline junkies. It quickly became clear this was going to be one of the most epic, adventurous elopements we have ever had the pleasure of planning.

Liberty and George met on a plane as part of the same sky diving certification instruction group. They obviously had a lot in common and immediately hit it off…the rest was history. Four years later they visited the same drop zone where they had first met, little did Liberty know the jump on this day with her boyfriend would change her life forever! The couple jumped together and as they flew through the air George pulled out a ring the size of his fist (He used a big fake ring, so he didn’t drop the real thing!) Even though they weren’t able to grab hold of each other in the air he could see the reaction on Liberty’s face and that was all he needed. They were engaged!

George and Liberty came out to Hawaii to elope, not to escape their friends and family and the big wedding hoopla but to just relish in their time alone, just the two of them. With such a wild proposal they knew their wedding had to be just as epic and memorable. They landed on an having an Oahu adventure elopement.

We decided on an adventure that included some of their other favorite hobbies: kayaking, hiking, and climbing. Together with a stellar photo and video team we kayaked out to Chinaman’s Hat and climbed to the top. This is where the couple said their vows and declared their love for each other, just the two of them. The only witnesses of this incredible ceremony being the camera crew, the beautiful pacific ocean, and the majestic Ko’olau Mountain which seemed to applaud them.

George and Liberty wrapped up their wedding day with a visit to the Oahu Dropzone on the North Shore and jumped together for the first time as husband and wife!!! Some people share a first dance, for them, it was “a first skydive”. It was the cherry on top of this couple’s EPIC Oahu adventure elopement. A wedding we will ALL remember forever!
