Lanikuhonua is one of the most popular estate venues on Oahu. With the oceanfront views and its green spacious lawn, the beauty of the property speaks for itself. And, it was the beauty of Phase 3 that immediately caught Malayna + Terrence’s attention. When searching for their wedding venue online, they immediately envisioned an enchanted wedding at Lanikuhonua. Malayna + Terrence transformed Phase 3’s lawn space into an ultimate magical wedding experience.

Malayna + Terrence wanted to create a smooth wedding flow for their guests, so they beautifully designed a ceremony location that flowed into their oceanfront cocktail hour, which then continued to flow into their elegant enchanting reception space. Every space had a purpose and was carefully and thoughtfully detailed from choosing the specialty chair types to their hanging floral statement piece, to their mirror top tables, and hanging chandeliers above each guest table. For Malayna + Terrence, it was all in the details.

Their ceremony was located at the top corner of Phase 3. What was so unique about their ceremony? Malayna envisioned a show-stopping, jaw-dropping, bridal entrance. To help create this heart-throbbing moment, we thought Aloha Artisans’ white floral backdrop and white barn doors were perfect! A bright-jewel-toned arrangement of red and pink-hued florals vividly popped on top of the white-gated entrance. Once those doors opened, guests were welcomed into an elegant intimate space filled with white cross-back chairs, bright scattered floral petals on a white paneled ceremony aisle, a delicate hanging crystal chandelier above the aisle, and a gold trinity altar decked out with an organic, free-flowing fuchsia, bright pink-hued, red, accented with burgundy and coral custom floral installation beautifully created by Creative Concepts by Jeff. Their ceremony space was one of a kind.

It was the moment Terrence was waiting for all day, to see his beautiful bride in her wedding gown. The wedding party processional finished and the barn doors came to a close. The song changed to Malayna’s bridal processional song, the barn doors opened, and there stood Malayna in her gorgeous beaded, sequin bridal gown holding her lush jewel-toned bouquet, covered in her blusher veil. Terrence’s heart skipped a few beats as his bride glided down the aisle. Their eyes locked into one another’s and it was as if no one else was there at their ceremony. Their smiles were wide from ear to ear. It was this exact moment that made saving their first look at the aisle so worth it.
