Similar to other pandemic bridal couples, Chelsey and Colby were forced to postpone and adjust to the Covid-19 regulations. Planning a wedding during a pandemic was difficult dealing with the uncertainties and changing regulations. But, one thing did not change— their love for one another. Chelsey and Colby finally got to say “I do” in front of their closest family and friends in Hawaii. 2021 was their year. It was the perfect day for a Tropical Garden Celebration on the North Shore of Oahu!

The Ceremony

This couple was blessed to have perfect weather on their wedding day. It was a romantic, tropical garden vibe wedding at The Farm at Kaimea Estates. Chelsey and Colby said “I do” at the lookout with a gorgeous backdrop of Oahu’s north shore. Beautiful pops of pink and orange garden floral aisle markers were spread throughout the aisle creating a romantic, flowy, garden vibe. The couple then had their reception at the lychee grove, which was illuminated with cafe lights and votive candles. Under a string of cafe lights, the couple sat at a farm head table alongside their wedding party. The head table was lavished in peach, blush, and white votive candles and romantic, tropical, garden floral arrangements. Chelsey, Colby, and their wedding party looked like they were sitting in a garden filled with pink, orange, white tropical flowers and greenery. It was romantic, intimate, and picture-worthy.

The Reception

We love personalized details! The personalized details are not only Instagram worthy, it shows personality and style. Chelsey and Colby wanted the kids at their wedding to feel like they could be themselves. So, rather than having a classic kids table next to the adults, the couple had a kids tent. It was so cute and fun! The kids were playing in the tent, sitting on cushions and coloring on the table. Each guest had a lasered wooden name cutout and each plate was on top of a monstera leaf charger. And, of course the romantic tropical garden floral arrangements were the perfect amount of pop and color on the white linen guest tables. Chelsey and Colby did not get to go through with their original wedding plans, but this couple persevered and proved that even with a pandemic happening, love conquers all.
