Sweetheart tables are mentioned with almost every client I work with. Which one do you choose? Sweetheart table or Head table? Here is the difference: typically you see the couple with their wedding party on one long table, known as a head table.  This table is usually held on a platform with the couple and their bridal party facing their guests while they eat and proceed with their program.  More frequently you will see the couple on their own table, while their bridal party sits with the rest of their guests.  This is called the sweetheart table.  The sweetheart table is placed somewhere in the reception space that will allow the couple to have a little privacy and still be able to watch the festivities and mingle.  It allows the couple to keep the intimacy on such a special night and makes for romantic and breathe taking pictures.

The sweetheart table is a simple concept, which includes one table and two chairs, one for the Mr. and the other for the Mrs.  Depending on the couple the decor can be simple or extravagant.
