The bride and groom’s thank you speech is an opportunity for them to recognize those involved in making their wedding dreams come true! Start out by deciding if you each want to say something or if you want to give your thanks as a couple. Secondly, make sure you don’t leave out anyone important… Here is our ABC thank you speech checklist:

1. Guests: Whether your guests are local or came from out of town it is important to acknowledge all of them and thank them for being there and celebrating with you. It is also nice to include those who were invited but couldn’t make it, especially if it is a destination wedding.

2. Bridal Party: Here the bride may want to say a special thanks to her bridesmaids and the groom to his groomsmen. These people were important enough to the both of you to be apart of your wedding party they deserve a special shout out.

3. Parents: They brought you into this world and raised you to be the people you are today. Whether you thank your own parents or visa versa parents definitely deserve a special thank you.

4. Vendors: your wedding would not have been possible without your vendors, a mention in your thank you speech is always appreciated… make sure you don’t forget anyone!

5. Eachother: your married! congratulations! this day literally wouldn’t have been possible without the two of you so make sure to mention each other and your excitement for the future as a married couple!
