Two awe-struck lovers brought our team together for an absolutely breathtaking December wedding. Mimi and Mickey are the feature of this week’s Real Wedding Story!

Mimi & Mickey are both from Denmark, but coincidentally met and fell in love on Oahu while here for school. Their love led them to travel around the world, and eventually they returned to the island where they first met to seal the deal.

The intimate wedding was held in the North Shore at Ke Iki Beach Bungalows overlooking Ke Iki Beach. Only about 30 of their closest friends and families joined them, many who traveled far and wide to make it to Hawaii for their beautiful wedding. The secluded beach was perfect for their ceremony, and the waves put on a show!

The theme was one of our favorites; a breathtaking bohemian style, with miniature succulent plant favors and thistle and protea flower centerpieces! The simplistic decor with the right touch of boho style was something we haven’t seen in a while, and we absolutely loved it! The combination of flowers for the wedding were provided by Passion Roots, Watanabe Floral, and Paiko. The entertainment for the ceremony and reception was provided by Jason Midro, and the one who had the pleasure of capturing it all was photographer Rebecca Arthurs! All in all it was an amazing day, and we wish Mimi & Mickey the best wishes in their marriage together!
