This couple will always hold a very special place in my heart. Gaby & Nick won me over from the very first moment I met them! They had a beautiful wedding at Loulu Palm Farm Estate on Oahu. I knew I wanted to play an important role in their wedding day. With every word she spoke he seemed to be lost in her eyes and full of happiness. Their chemistry is so vibrant and genuine that you can feel their love from across the room. They are both from Australia and they share profound love and respect for the islands. Hawaii was the perfect place for them to get married.

This wedding is one that we will never forget. It is a perfect example of no matter how much you plan, you can’t prevent LIFE from happening on your wedding day. The bridge that everyone is required to cross to get to Loulu Palm Farm Estate had a temporary weight ban on it and the charter bus with the groom and all the guests were stuck on the other side of the bridge. With quick thinking and some serious blessings from above, we were able to rally up our team and the vendors to drive across the bridge and shuttle the guests to the venue. I’ve never had the honor of personally escorting the (very tall) Groom and Groomsmen to the venue in my small (not so rockin’) Civic. I am so thankful the Groom didn’t seem to mind and just seemed ready to get married!

At the end of the day, we caught up with timing and everything worked out more perfect than I could have ever imagined. The weather was beautiful, the sunset was EPIC and love was everywhere. They are a true testament to how important it is to relax and go with the flow and always keep in mind what brought you both together for this day. There was an overwhelming amount of support for Gaby and Nick and they deserved every bit of it.
