I’m Andrew Tran, born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii and the Founder/Creative Director of Redefined Weddings. I fell in love with this industry as soon as my dad introduced me to it growing up. I’ve been pursuing my passion for filmmaking, telling stories and crafting wedding films for over 10 years now. I feel the most fulfilled when I get to hang out with an awesome couple, their closest friends/family and be able to capture all of the moments on their special day.

We’re a wedding cinematography and photography collective with a specialized team – we got you covered! Your wedding is as meaningful to us as it is to you. It’s a chance to create something beautiful, new, and unique. 

Based out of Honolulu, HI, whether you are within or beyond our waters, we would love to help tell your story. I recently got engaged to my beautiful fiancé, Megan, and she’s since come on board to help me with Redefined Weddings. Together with Megan, we’ve been building and expanding our team. We find it an honor to not only be a part of your special day but to be able to capture and craft a beautiful film that’ll last for years to come.

When we aren’t working, we’re usually playing board games with friends, eating good food, enjoying a bottle of wine, or traveling. We truly fell in love with the sense of adventure when exploring new places around the world and revisiting old ones. Some of our favorite places are: Japan, Italy, Vancouver, and anywhere we can snowboard/eat delicious food.
