As an officiant, Kelehua performs a traditional yet modern ceremony, delicately and appropriately weaving Hawaiian cultural elements into the ceremony, blended together with familiar, traditional Western elements, allowing each couple’s experience to feel truly unique to the Islands, while honoring tradition. The result is a warm and memorable time where each couple feels embraced by the spirit of Aloha and the beauty of Hawai’i. 

Kelehua tailors each ceremony to the couple’s liking, incorporating requested elements such as personal vows, Scripture, special readings, and the couple’s own cultural and/or religious traditions. 

She has performed thousands of ceremonies during her career as a wedding officiant, from the beautiful beaches of Hawai’i’s shores to the famous summit and peaks of Hawaii’s mountain ranges, in helicopters and boats on the ocean, and at the many beloved private venues around our islands. 

Kelehua has welcomed and embraced couples from around the world and kama’aina here at home in Hawai’i. She is grateful when a couple chooses Hawai’i for their special day. Knowing they could choose anywhere in the world, she feels privileged and honored to facilitate their most cherished memory in a place she loves with all her heart. 

Her work is dedicated to her beautiful couples, her fellow wedding industry vendors, her husband and three children, and her mom, who she credits for teaching her hard work, dedication, and gratitude. In her free time, she loves to surf and travel!
