He has Quite the Resume!
He’s created a soundtrack for 20,000 at Coachella, spun at Fashion Week in Paris, and entertained Questlove’s Super Bowl XLVIII guests but for DJ James Vincent there’s no higher honor than being booked for your big day.

working with each couple to create a playlist that reflects their relationship.”

With a career that’s taken him from opening for John Legend at House of Blues in Los Angeles,
sharing decks with Run DMC and DJ AM, DJing New York’s Fashion Week, writing original music
heard on “Entourage,” “An American Werewolf in Paris” and “Coach Carter,” scoring two gold
records and a “Best Song” MTV Movie Award for his remixes and songwriting credits with
rockers Bush and Citizen Cope, DJ James Vincent isn’t your average wedding DJ.
Says James: “I have two jobs — to make you happy and get your guests on the dancefloor. Your
playlist should be as unique as your love story.”

Since 2014, Amy Jones, the owner of Westport, Connecticut, and Philadelphia-based Amy
Champagne Events has booked James multiple times. “Jimmy is a mastermind on the
turntables,” says Jones. “Once the dancing is going, he’s in the zone, playing to the crowd.
Vendors ask me who this guy is because they’re all dancing while they’re photographing and
serving.”
