That timeless, romantic, fun, flirty, cheeks hurt from smiling so bad kind of love. Devin and Cameron were a special couple. Their love was infectious. This destination wedding couple traveled from Dallas Texas to say I Do “where heaven meets the earth” at Lanikuhonua Cultural Institute. Devin grew up vacationing and creating lifelong memories in Hawaii with her family. It was extra special for her to say her vows in a place so close to her heart and create some of the most special memories of her life here with all her loved ones. 

The couple really wanted to pull from the theme of the natural beauty of the island and Lanikuhonua for their special day. Their vision and style completely encapsulated the look and feel of Hawaii. Modern and minimalistic tropical. The theme, was palm tree paradise with a splash of color! This romantic tropical jungle look incorporated local florals, island greenery, dusty rose with ivory and wood accents. They spared no details. The ceremony featured a breathtaking ocean backdrop, tropical circle arch and light Chivari chairs. They opted for a tent-less reception because wanted guests to really feel connected to the natural beauty of the venue. The design included romantic cafe lights, family style dark wood farm tables, ivory table runners, assorted candles, tropical greenery garlands and centerpieces with pops of florals. 

Their wedding priorities were to create a fun environment for their guests to enjoy and celebrate together! They did just that. The couple included lawn games for cocktail hour, a light rattan-styled lounge area by Ambient Rentals for mingling and relaxing, shaved ice treats from Aloha on the Rocks, signature cocktails from Stir Beverage and a Marquee ALOHA sign from Designed with Aloha. What really brought the whole ambiance together was the live music from Island Kings Band. They had every single guest out on the dance floor celebrating the Newlyweds! This group was a blast!
