Kristine and Jerry traveled from Las Vegas to celebrate their union with all their closest friends and family in their happy place, Hawaii! The couple got engaged in Hawaii and with future plans to move to the islands it only seemed fitting for them to host their wedding in this special place. The Moana Surfrider ticked all the wedding day priority boxes. The couple wanted amazing food, picturesque views and an epic night of dancing and drinking for their guests! That’s exactly what they got!

The couple hosted their Catholic ceremony down the street from the Moana Surfrider at the gorgeous St. Augustine by the Sea Church. This church is a home away from home for many travelers to Waikiki. Its iconic A-frame-like structure, galvanized roofing, lattice walls, and towering stained glass windows make this church a perfect seaside wedding location. Their ceremony was traditional and romantic!

Their reception took place on Moana Surfrider’s Diamond Head Lawn and Terrace. Just steps from the famous Waikiki beach this space is surrounded by tropical foliage providing privacy from the beach while still getting the sounds of the waves rolling and views of the ocean and Diamond Head Crater!

The setup was incredible! So picturesque. The photos turned out amazing! They went with an elegant boho tropical vibe with gold accents. Their palette included neutral colors, cream, white, gold, and dark greenery. It was modern, clean, and oh so romantic! Puaka’ie Floristry nailed the tropical elegant boho assignment. Their blooms included White Anthuriums, White Dendrobium Orchids, a variety of Roses, Million Star, White Ranunculus, and White Larkspur. These in addition to the Italian Ruscus both fresh and bleached, Ferns, Dried sun palm, Dried babies breath and lemon leaf made the whole design come together beautifully!

One of our favorite details from this wedding day was their Champagne Wall seating chart! Champagne welcome drinks are always a hit. But when that glass comes off a wall accompanied by a handmade escort card, the WOW factor is next level.  As guests entered the lawn they picked up their chilled glass of bubbles and their seating assignment!
