Vow renewals are so unique and special. They are a celebration to say, “I STILL do!” It is an intimate, romantic way to reconfirm your love and commitment to one another. We love having the opportunity to have a hand in coordinating vow renewals because love should always be celebrated and reaffirmed! This one was extra special and our team was truly honored to make Kisha and Marcus’ third wedding in 20 years come to fruition.

“Again for the third time in 20 years, Mr. and Mrs. Marcus Anthony Smith!”

This couple, Kisha and Marcus, love for one another is truly something else. The moment Kisha walked down the aisle and made eye contact with Marcus, it was like they were getting married for the first time all over again. What made this couple extra special was that this celebration was their third vow renewal! When we asked Marcus why? He said “Every time we renew our vows it sparks something new and magical in our marriage.” This extravagant tropical bohemian inspired celebration was a phenomenal way to celebrate for the third time!

The Ceremony

As their third vow renewal it HAD to be extra special. Kisha envisioned earth tone colors with a tropical bohemian vibe. Coming from North Carolina, Hawaii was the perfect location for this intimate celebration. Their ceremony took place in the morning at The Modern Hotel in Waikiki. They transformed The Modern Hotel’s pool deck into a tropical bohemian dream. To say it was stunning is an understatement! The teamwork between the vendors that came together to bring this vision to life was incredible. La Flor Events decked out Ambient Rentals moon gate arch frame with assorted dried fan palms, blush anthurium, cream anthurium, assorted sprayed monstera leaf, hanging heliconia, king protea, and air plant. What a dream!

So, what would make this ceremony space even dreamier? An aisle on top of the pool! In her gorgeous lace mermaid-styled bridal gown, Kisha made an epic bridal entrance. An unforgettable entrance!

The Reception

Between the morning ceremony and reception Kisha and Marcus toured the island to every epic backdrop they could find creating beautiful memories captured by Joseph Esser and his team! What an adventure!

The reception took place at the Prince Hotel in Waikiki. Their reception was intimate, and the decor a tropical bohemian bliss. The vendors truly crushed it with this one! Guest tables were adorned with light blue cheesecloth runners, gold tapered candles, cracked coconuts, assorted clear and light blue bud vases, rattan chargers, vivid orange knotted napkins, and personalized place cards. It was so detailed! The sweetheart table was framed by the ceremony’s tropical bohemian arch pieces and in a seat that fit perfectly for a king and queen, the couple sat in a dark rattan double peacock chair. All we can say is, WOW!

The Luau Show

The couple surprised their guests with a luau show performed by The Ring of Fire. Everyone got a front row seat and loved this cultural element of the evening. It was such a fun way to transition into open dancing.
