Picture this. A romantic, rustic, garden vibe at the downtown hidden gem venue, Cafe Julia with a dreamy romantic garden ceremony floral installation and a romantic, rustic tablescape. This was Sharlane and Vince’s wedding. Sharlane and Vince traveled to Hawaii in 2019, and it is one of their favorite trips together. So choosing Hawaii as their destination wedding location was an easy decision. Canada was where they met, Greece is where they got engaged, and Hawaii is now, where they said their I do’s. Sharlane and Vince dreamed of sunny weather, blue skies, and good food on their wedding day. Surrounded by their family and friends, this sweet couple experienced their dream wedding.

Sharlane and Vince’s ceremony had a romantic garden vibe. Debbie with Designs by Hemingway created a dreamy greenery garden column floral installation with accents of white and blush roses. With Sharlane’s stunning lace sweetheart neckline bridal gown, long white veil, and glamorous hairpin, and Vince’s chic navy blue suit, they looked timeless. As they stood, hand-in-hand in front of the dreamy floral installation, it was as if time stood still. This was the moment they’ve been waiting for. The day they could not wait for it to happen. With wide bright smiles, Sharlane and Vince walked down the aisle to a bubble shower. They stopped for a moment, Sharlane looked at Vince, and he gave her another kiss. It was whimsical and romantic.

You know the couple is ready to celebrate when the groom creates the playlist, detailing what song to play and in what order! Throughout their wedding day, this couple embraced every moment. If a song was playing, they danced to it. No matter where they were or what they were doing. If a guest wanted to take a picture with them, they took the picture, and then spent time talking with them. They recognized that their family and friends traveled to Hawaii for their wedding celebration and Sharlane and Vince wanted to show their appreciation. While Sharlane and Vince’s love for one another glowed, it was the love from their family and friends that was overflowing.

Sharlane and Vince took some portraits at the hotel and then did some modern downtown couple portraits at Cafe Julia. Sharlane and Vince did a first look at The Royal Hawaiian Hotel and their portraits were so chic! Their portraits in downtown Honolulu were modern and fun! And, their portraits at Cafe Julia, were candidly cute and romantic! We love candid shots! And, we loved all of Sharlane and Vince’s candid moments caught behind the lens. One of our favorite candid moments of this sweet couple was them dancing by the pool to Mariah Carey. It was so cute to see them totally live in that moment.
