The Stunning Staircase Entrance

Instead of having Moli’i’s fishpond as the classic ceremony backdrop, Eden and Kyle had Moli’i’s greenery as their backdrop. Their closest family and friends were surrounded by Moli’i Gardens’ wondrous natural greenery. It was a stunning backdrop for Eden’s memorable and dramatic bridal entrance down the staircase. She glowed as she flowed down the staircase alongside her father. Her elegant white gown perfectly popped against Moli’i’s dark shades of green. The couple was the perfect balance between elegance and tropical boho vibe, as Kyle was dressed in an Aloha collared shirt, maile lei and slack. Eden glowed in her boho bridal gown, stunning veil, and white orchids in her hair.

A Little Hawaii Blessing

The saying is, “rain on your wedding day is a sign of good luck because it signifies that your marriage will last. A knot that becomes wet is extremely hard to untie. Therefore, when you tie the knot on a rainy day, your marriage is supposedly just as hard to unravel.” And, Eden and Kyle were blessed with a little rain on their wedding day! Eden and Kyle had a tent-less reception where they sat under the Hawaiian skies adorned with cafe lights. It was intimate and romantic and the rain was a perfect blessing for the evening.

Personal Touches

Our favorite part of Eden and Kyle’s romantic boho wedding was their personal elements. The couple implemented the island of Oahu into their favors and guestbook. Each guest had a menu card with their names on it. They were also given a magnet of the island of Oahu tagged with a donation to Hawaii’s Food Bank. Finally, rather than a classic guestbook, the couple had guests sign a watercolor painted map of Oahu. Such a cute idea!

Huge shoutout to the amazing group of vendors who made this day possible:
