Sarah and Chris tied the knot at the Royal Hawaiian Golf Course, nestled in the Ko’olau Mountains of Hawaii. Despite the rainy wedding day, the couple embraced the weather and added a touch of romance with umbrellas for their ceremony. The lush greenery and stunning mountain views provided the perfect backdrop for their intimate celebration. The couple loves visiting Hawaii and wanted to say I Do in the islands surrounded by the spirit of Aloha. They were drawn to the Royal Hawaiian Golf Course for its mountain views and the ability to curate their dream romantic tropical wedding vibe there. They opted for deep, rich colors to complement the lush surroundings.

A Wet Knot is Harder to Untie

They made the best of the rainy wedding day. The mountains looked magical sprinkled with waterfalls! They opted to keep the ceremony outdoors and had all their guests use umbrellas. They really added to the photos and their experience. It was a beautiful solution to achieve their outdoor Hawaiian ceremony vision. They also shared a first look and private vow reading together in the rain. The moments they shared together before the ceremony in the rain with just the two of them were so magical, romantic, and the perfect way to kick off the wedding day celebrations.

Sarah and Chris wanted their family, loved ones, and good friends to be a part of their special day and enjoy the celebration with them. The laid-back couple had their ceremony at the lawn garden and reception in the Ali’i Ballroom. Despite the rainy wedding day, Sarah and Chris’s love shone through, and their celebration was nothing short of magical. A wet knot is harder to untie! Their marriage was truly blessed with this on their special day in Hawaii.
