Where does a wedding planner go to get married? I knew right away that we would have a private estate wedding in Kilauea, Hawaii. It was the same town that Alex popped the question!! I struggled long and hard with how I was going to be able to enjoy the wedding without it feeling like work or reminding me of another client’s wedding. I love my clients but I was ready for a wedding of my own.

My (now) husband and I have always loved Kauai. In our minds, it was the perfect place to tie the knot. We invited our closest family and friends and kept it under 60 guests. It wasn’t easy but it was SUPER important to us to keep it intimate enough to enjoy the day and each other.

We are high school sweethearts both born and raised in Colorado. After a long engagement (nearly 2 years!) we got married this year as it marks our 10th year together. It all came together beautifully and we couldn’t be happier with the memories we have of our wedding day. Thanks to all the wonderful vendors who worked hard to pull it off!
