The National Tropical Botanical Garden on Kauai is the ultimate garden venue to tie the knot. The raw, lush beauty and native foliage make it the ideal location for earth-loving, nature enthusiasts. Clarissa & Johan’s wedding vision was just that earthy, natural, and simple. They wanted to find a location where they could use the natural beauty of the venue as the base to make their vision come to life. National Tropical Botanical Garden hit all the marks. On top of it all the Bride, Clarissa was born and raised in Kauai so getting married in the place she grew up was just the cherry on top!

Located on the south shore of Kauai in Koloa The National Tropical Botanical Garden sits in Lawa’i Valley. This incredible space is surrounded by Breathtaking cliffs, tropical greenery, and ocean views. This couple opted to say their vows at the venue’s South Shore Visitor Center which includes expansive meadow and ocean views while still being surrounded by the lush, natural flora and fauna of the valley. This venue is a photographer’s dream with 360 degrees of gorgeous backdrops. For this couple and most that choose this venue the goal was to make the beauty of the venue to be the statement of the design!

The vision was earthy, natural, simple, and oh-so-beautiful!! This couple wanted their National Tropical Botanical Gardens wedding to highlight the natural beauty of the venue. They incorporated lots of foliage and wood textures. With a palette of dusty lavender, cool beiges, greenery, silver, and cream. Sustainability was also a priority for this couple. They aimed to be environmentally conscious of the goods and services. For example. They used potted succulents for centerpieces which doubled as favors for guests to take home with them and their favorite pies for the wedding cake which they also sent home with guests.
