What a special day for a special couple! Jackie and Miles celebrated their love surrounded by their closest friends and family with an intimate Kauai backyard wedding. Now, don’t let the word “backyard” fool you. The design and decor for this small celebration was phenomenal! We have been really digging these small weddings, couples are able to put more focus and money into details and design and the best part is they get to spend more time with each of their guests.

Myles and Jackie met on a travel group in Europe so, it was only fitting for them to opt for a destination wedding. With Myles being from Australia and Jackie from the US Hawaii was the perfect middle ground between their two worlds! This couple said their official I Do’s a few years ago and initially planned on having a large celebration in December of 2020 (which of course, COVID got in the way of). They ended up opting for an intimate gathering to celebrate their union in Hawaii! The couple’s priorities for their special day were to spend quality time with everyone. This is where the idea for an intimate Kauai backyard wedding was born. 

The vision and style was clean, classic, romantic elegant & tropical! Their design featured white orchids and anthuriums, blush tones and gold accents. Kauai Event Design took care of their rentals and florals and what a beautiful design they put together! The ceremony featured bamboo chairs and the most gorgeous arch adjourned with gorgeous floral arrangements that included light and blush palette roses, white orchids, white anthuriums, olive leaves, babies breath, with dry florals and grasses to fill it out.  The rest of the design included farm tables dressed with a gathered nude table runner, draping ivory napkins, ivory plates, gold flatware, grey and green water goblets. The finishing touches included floral and pampas grass centerpieces, sprinkled with bud vases and assorted candles! The entire design came together SO beautifully and completely embodied the elegant, romantic vibe the couple had envisioned.

Congratulations to the beautiful couple, Jackie & Myles! This special day came together so wonderfully! It wouldn’t have been possible without such an incredible group of vendors to help make this couple’s vision come to life!
