For Veronica + Michael, their love story began on Oahu. Michael is a part of the military and has lived on Oahu for three years. Do you believe in fate? When Veronica was vacationing on Oahu, she met Michael. They immediately connected, fell in-love, and the rest is history. Oahu is where their love story began and they wanted to share that part of their story with their friends and family by having a destination wedding at Paliku Gardens. 

Veronica + Michael wanted to highlight Paliku Gardens’ natural beauty by adding vibrant tropical modern florals and pineapples to their tables. These hues of pink, purple, and reds popped so vividly on top of the white linen. The show stopping floral piece? Veronica’s bridal bouquet! Waiahole Nursery created a gorgeous pink hued, bright red, and monstera leaf greenery tropical bouquet that complemented her off-the-shoulder intricately laced bridal gown so effortlessly. 

The wedding party wanted to create a memorable and fun grand entrance. Veronica + Michael were getting married at Kualoa Ranch. A location commonly used for Hollywood movies like Jurassic Park. So, they thought, what better way to begin a wedding reception than having dinosaurs? A couple of the wedding party members dressed up in the blow-up dinosaur suits and danced on to the dance floor as their names were called. The dinosaur cameo was a huge hit! 

One of Veronica + Michael’s top wedding day priorities was having their photo and video team capture every moment. From their invitation flat lay photos to getting ready portraits, wedding party candid moments, and all of the little family hugs and congratulations in between, they wanted these snapshots to be captured. Kpix Photography and Dream FX Media made sure to capture all these moments behind the lens. What’s beautiful about Paliku Gardens is the size of the property. With the natural greenery and the blue ocean-front views, there is a swoon-worthy picturesque backdrop anywhere. Veronica + Michael’s romantic couple portraits were perfectly captured.
