Lexi + Tyler had an Eclectic, Minimalistic and Modern Wedding at Kualoa Ranch on Oahu
Eclectic. Minimalistic. Modern. This was Lexi + Tyler’s vision for their wedding day. You’re probably thinking, well, what does it look like?? Picture this – clear top tent, crisp white linen, white-wash cross back chairs, dark tropical greenery, classic white florals, pops of rose gold, and a shade of blue. This eclectic, minimalistic and modern wedding came to life at Kualoa Ranch. It was all in the details for Lexi + Tyler’s wedding day.
They’re the Vibe
Have you ever looked at a bride and was left speechless? Well, have you ever looked at a bride and groom together and thought, “They’re the entire vibe?” This was Lexi + Tyler. From her jaw-dropping sweetheart-lace strapless bridal gown completed with her white orchid modern tropical bouquet to Tyler’s eclectic teal suit and sleek black dress shoes, their newlywed look together was picturesque. Their looks complemented each other so well, that it was so hard to not capture them in front of a camera lens. Lexi + Tyler wanted to keep their look a surprise and decided early on that they wanted to wait till the aisle to see one another. The moment Lexi stepped into Tyler’s point of view, he dropped his head to wipe the tears from his eyes. That first look moment was so worth waiting for. They were an entire vibe!
Personalized Details
While the wedding aesthetic and larger details were important to Lexi + Tyler, they also wanted to add their personal touches in making it their wedding day. Guests were welcomed into cocktail hour with a shot of tequila in a personalized himalayan salted shot glass. Fun right?! In addition to their shot glasses, there were also signature cocktails, Aperol Spritzes and Mai Tais colorfully and beautifully sitting in tall zombie glasses. Lexi + Tyler wanted to create a space inside of their reception for guests to lounge and relax. So, they added a modern lounge set and a couple of low cocktail tables with ghost chairs. Their guests loved it! Lexi’s dad was a huge support in their wedding planning process. And, what was important to everyone was the food and how it was served. Rather than having a typical buffet, they thought– food stations! It was interactive and guests loved the experience in getting to choose between sushi, pastas, and charcuterie food options.
It’s a Dance Party
When choosing a DJ, we really do try to recommend vendors that would best complement not only the bride and groom’s personalities, but the overall music experience. Music is important. It creates the vibe of cocktail hour, dinner, and open dancing. Spectrum Entertainment brought everyone to their feets and onto the dance floor, even when it was raining. The combination of the shoji lanterns, cafe lights, and Spectrum’s uplights created Lexi + Tyler’s wedding dance party.
