The Waimea Valley Oahu wedding was a true celebration of love and inclusivity. Joey and Aaron wanted to create a wedding that was uniquely them. They did just that with a disco-in-paradise theme, which was a perfect fit for their personalities and guest list.

The Upper Meadow at Waimea Valley was the perfect venue. The expansive and lush garden setting provided the perfect beautiful backdrop for the ceremony and reception. The natural stage backed by monstera plants was a stunning feature that added to the tropical feel of the wedding. The ancient agricultural terraces added a touch of history and culture to the venue, making it a truly special place to get married.

The ceremony was magical. A whirlwind of love, emotion and celebration. The couple stood upon the stage of the upper meadow surrounded by deep tropical greenery and all their closest loved ones as they exchanged vows. It included laughter, tears, and smiles! All present could feel the magic and love in the air! The love and support that surrounded them was palpable, and it was clear what a special day this union was for everyone involved.

After the ceremony, the reception started with a bang. The Couple and their wedding party performed a Choreographed “Flashmob” Dance to Beyonce’s Honey! It was spectacular. The disco-in-paradise theme was evident in every detail, from the disco ball decor, to the records used as the guest book. The guests were dressed in their best disco outfits! The evening was overflowing with heartfelt speeches and the dance floor was packed all night long. 

The vendors and friends/family who helped put this wedding together did an amazing job. The love and magic in the air were evident in every detail, and it was clear that this was a wedding that was truly unique to the couple. The video put together by the videographer captured the essence of the day perfectly, and it’s clear that this was a wedding that will be remembered for years to come.

This Waimea Valley, disco-in-paradise wedding came together exactly as Aaron and Joey dreamed it would! The day was a beautiful celebration of love and inclusivity. A day filled with love, support, tears of joy, laughter, and dancing. It was so evident just how special this wedding was to everyone involved.
