Feeling The Love at Sheraton Kauai Resort for Lauren & Eric’s Special Day

Lauren & Eric were a dream to work with. Their wedding day priorities were simple: celebrating love at Sheraton Kauai Resort with their favorite people! This destination wedding couple traveled from Pennsylvania to say I do in beautiful Kauai. Planning from a distance is hard, especially when it is from the other side of the country. When they reached out to us for help coordinating their wedding they said all we want is a laid-back, organized go-with-the-flow day kind of day to celebrate with family and friends. Yes, many details go into a wedding but with our help we were able to help them achieve this laid-back wedding day vision so they could just sit back, relax and enjoy being with all their people, commemorating their love in a beautiful place. The theme of the day was love, and it shone through so brightly!

Lauren & Eric’s wedding started the day before with a beautiful rehearsal. They had United on Kauai officiant Kahu Kelvin Ho attend to do a ring blessing. This was an incredible experience for everyone involved, giving them an opportunity to bless the rings with good luck, love, and positive intentions for their marriage the next day.

First Look and Private Vow Exchange

The wedding day was a day full of adventures, laughs, and beautiful people. Although they had no official wedding party it was important to the couple to have their closest friends an arm’s length away from start to finish. The group got ready for the day at Kukui’ula cottage with all their VIP friends and family.  The next event of the day was an adventurous one. Lauren and Eric ventured to Mahalepu’u Beach for an intimate first look and private vow exchange. Here, they snuck in portraits on the beach and on the epic oceanside cliffs!

The I Do’s

The Ceremony took place at the breathtaking Ocean Point at the Sheraton Kauai Resort. The vibe was set with the sweet sound of live music by Tommy Tokioka, light and airy flower towers in sunset tones by Sunrise Blooms, towering palm trees, and the pacific ocean waves crashing in the backdrop. Lauren & Eric said I do with a Traditional Hawaiian ceremony led by Kahu Kelvin. Solidifying their union surrounded by all loved ones, just as they had always imagined!

The Celebration

The Reception was held in the Rumfire restaurant at the Sheraton. The vision and style were absolutely to die for with a palette of coral, gold, tangerine, and terra cotta. Sunrise Blooms raised the bar with this design. Sunset-colored bloom bud vases, with garlands of fresh island fruit and citrus and hanging chandelier installations featuring delicate green smilax vines and hanging carnation garlands. The space was oh so dreamy and set the tone for them to celebrate into the night with all their special people.

#thenewlywags2022

The entire day was a complete reflection of this incredible couple – full of love, patience, and joy! Lauren and Eric were surrounded by their people with so much love and you could just feel all of it in the air. In the end, you just knew Kauai would forever hold a special place in their hearts.
