Personable, professional, and charming… this is Hawaii Wedding Minister Reverend James Chun. This man has not only been an integral member of the Oahu wedding community for nearly 2 decades but has also been one of ABC’s number recommended Officiants since the very beginning.

We have had the absolute pleasure of not only working with but also getting to know James on a personal level over the years. He has the biggest kindest heart and values love, faith, aloha, and above all his family. These values are what make him so authentically talented at what he does.

James was born in China and immigrated to Hawaii at the young age of 5.  Growing up on the Aina it quickly became “home.” He is a family man through and through. He enjoys activities like watching movies, cooking, and of course spending time with his loved ones. He lives happily in Hawaii with his beautiful wife, two girls, and dog.

Reverend Chun performs ceremonies at all types of venues from churches, to hotel and estate weddings to intimate beach celebrations. He works with couples of all denominations and makes the planning process easy and stress-free. He is willing and able to make your ceremony personalized and unique through incorporate any special requests or ceremony elements.

One of the things we love about working with James is that he understands the many aspects and moving parts that go into a wedding day. He is respectful and professional when working with all of the vendors needed to make this day possible for you.
