At every wedding, there is something that happens to make staying on time impossible. Sometimes it’s wet hair when the ladies are getting their hair done, other times its traffic. For this story, it was one fussy baby.
The bride for this particular wedding was the new mother to two beautiful six-month-old twins. During the day her parents were helping to watch after the two of them. After being a little disgruntled all day one of the twin baby’s spat up all over the Father of the Brides shirt. Obviously, we had to delay everything for him to get changed and get everything resettled. Meanwhile, it starts pouring rain outside.
In most cases, it adds stress to be running late, but in this case, it truly was a blessing. If it hadn’t been for this small delay caused by a small child everything would have started on time and everyone would have been out in the rain getting soaked.
It was only a short while till the rain subsided and everything was able to go off without a hitch. It’s always a good reminder that no matter how much you plan and keep everything on plan, there are somethings you just can’t account for.
