We hosted our second Annual ABC Summer Mixer on Sunday, August 17th and boy was it a blast!! It is always such pleasure working with new brides and getting to know them. Add in a handful of our top preferred vendors and you’ve set yourself up for one heck of a night!
The event was hosted at the one our favorite venues, the YWCA. Though we were thrown through quite the loop with the hurricanes, turned tropical storms, requiring us to change dates, there were still about 20 couples that showed up for this great opportunity to get to know some really awesome vendors.
One of the highlights of the night for us was during one of the games orchestrated by DJ Kevo, from Bliss DJ’s Hawaii. All participants were asked to retrieve something from the crowd and race back, as one seat was taken away in their absents. After being asked to retrieve “something blue,” one of the male participants races over and sweeps up another gentleman, that was wearing a blue shirt, and races back to his seat with him in his arms!
Other than games we also had prize give aways, which included a $100 Amazon gift card, a “trash the dress” photo shoot, and more. We had so much fun hosting this event and everyone that attended had such blast as well. Thank you to everyone who came out for this event, we can’t wait until our next one!!
