Jodie and Evan’s desert wedding was a true celebration of love and nature. The Red Earth Venue in Moab, Utah provided the perfect backdrop for their special day. The day started at Moab Under Canvas with a private secret encounter. They stood back to back took in the views and exchanged private vows with each other. It was the perfect way to kick off the celebration of the best day of their lives!

Surrounded by red rock cliffs and native desert vegetation the couple tied the knot at the desert platform site. With all their favorite people and their beloved Golden Doodle Oliver as witnesses, they promised to spend forever together. The ceremony performed by one of their family members was extremely heartfelt and emotional.

The intimate group of friends and family enjoyed cocktail hour and reception at the glass venue site, where they were treated to delicious food by Moab Private Chef Ken Moody and signature cocktails from the Tipsy Trailer Bar. The romantic spring vibe was brought to life by Laura Lee Designs, with candles, floral arrangements, and specialty rental pieces such as peacock chairs and lounge pieces that created the overall ambiance.

Heartfelt speeches, drinking, dancing, laughter and so much love filled the night. They even had a surprise late-night taco bar for the guests in celebration of Cinco de Mayo. The couple closed out the night with a private last dance and an epic sparkler exit, surrounded by the stunning desert landscape.

Jodie and Evan’s love story is a testament to the power of fate, as they met at a mutual friend’s birthday dinner in 2019 and quickly found they were each other’s missing puzzle pieces. Their wedding day was full of emotion and love, with their closest friends and family traveling to be with them in Moab.
