When a local Hawaii girl travels the world and meets the love of her life in the UK, you know magic is bound to happen! Sheryl & Craig were the sweetest and gentlest of souls; so in love, in best friendship, and thrilled to be planning their DIY Hawaii wedding side by side.

They wed at a tucked away favorite, Queen Emma’s Summer Palace, with family and friends from all over the world. Their peach, blush, and coral colors complimented the bold greenery and antique style, while hints of blue and gold made other decor elements pop!

For their style, their love of all things “geeky”, as Sheryl puts it, was an incredible combination of animation, fantasy, romantic creativity, and incredible execution! Most all decor was handmade by our couple: the felt floral decor (bouquets, hair embellishments, boutonnieres, even the groom’s lei!), the paper floral centerpieces, the colorful 1001 cranes, the wedding cake(!!!), and much more!

Although most of the decor was the bride’s craftiness, the groom had his own gift to the elements of creativity. He has a background in game animation and he created two incredible aspects!  First, the couple’s wedding invitation! At first glance, it seemed like a perfect floral-like design, but the closer you looked, you’d find hidden pokemon, anime, and characters hidden in the design!! Then, an interactive video game for guests to play with the couple as the characters!! Sheryl & Craig’s wedding game was a total hit, and just another reason to appreciate all the hard work gone into the day.
