We had SO much fun working with Melissa & Jon, they were one of our first couples to book us from New Jersey! They had so much personality and their wedding had a huge emphasis on having a good time with their closest friends and family. Their vision was natural and beachy with burlap linens, soft natural colors and blush florals with accents of greenery. With only 15 guests in attendance they were able to relax and enjoy their intimate Hale Kimo Wedding on Oahu.

This was our first wedding with the groom being a wedding vendor. Jon is the owner of Rock Life Studios, one of the best high-end wedding productions company in the Tri State area. (no pressure for the vendors right??….) The best part about having the couple be so familiar with the wedding industry is they knew exactly what they wanted and how they were going to get it. They truly trusted our team to handle everything on the wedding day to make sure it ran as smoothly as possible.

One of my favorite parts of their wedding is instead of having wedding favors they donated to the ASPCA on behalf of each of the guests. Secondly, they couldn’t have their beloved dogs present on the wedding day so instead they took pictures of them in Aloha shirts and had them placed in frames on the check in table!

As the day progressed, Jon was cool as a cucumber and Melissa was so excited she could hardly contain herself. it finally hit Melissa that she was getting married! Once they saw each other everything else fell into place perfectly. They were laughing and genuinely loving each other for the rest of the night.

Major thanks to Rock Life Studios for sharing the video and to Frank Amodo Photography for capturing their wedding day!
