Kelsie and Scott are one of the sweetest and most genuine couples we have worked with this year! They are each other’s best friend and high school sweethearts. Their fun and creative personalities truly reflected throughout the wedding day. The couple pictured a warm and romantic vibe that would turn into a fun night for everyone. This was brought to life with sunflowers, gold kissed candles and the cutest jelly favors. The yellow and light gray color scheme were perfect for this couple. As if their décor wasn’t cute enough already, an adorable pair of little Totoro characters from a Japanese cartoon sat on top of a “naked” and very delicious cake.

Kelsie and Scott’s wedding was unique in more than one way. Traditionally, there are only females on the bride’s side and males on the groom’s side. However, Kelsie incorporated her brother into her bridal party with the label of “bridesman”, bringing a modern feel to the wedding day. This is becoming more and more common as couples think less about tradition and more about who they want supporting them on the wedding day.

When Kelsie and Scott first locked eyes as she walked down the aisle, we could actually feel the love and excitement in the air. Tears of joy donned the wedding guests’ faces, as well as ours. As they exchanged their vows it seemed as if no one else was in the room. Once the judge pronounced the couple as husband and wife they walked down the aisle under a shower of rose petals.

A special thank you to Seeking Films for sharing their photos and to all of the awesome vendors who helped in making Kelsie and Scott’s wedding day a memorable one!
