Our tip to all the brides who are still in the early planning stages of their wedding is this: Budget your Bridal Party! Believe it or not, the bride and groom aren’t the only ones who want to save money. Sometimes, bridal party members end up excusing themselves from your wedding because it gets to be too expensive.

Before you do anything, we highly recommend that you finalize a budget strictly for the bridal party. Some brides who don’t do this, end up having more bridal party members than they can afford. Keep your partner in the loop when finalizing your bridal party budget and who will be in it, too! We don’t want any surprises later down the road…

Clarify what will be paid by you in terms of expenses and what the bridal party will have to pay for on their own. Whether that be their dress, shoes, jewelry, other accessories, or even hair and makeup, let it be known from the beginning so your bridal party knows exactly what they are agreeing to. Often times bridal party members agree to be in your wedding and assume what will be paid for by you. Going over your finalized budget when you ask friends and family to be a part of your bridal party is an excellent way to avoid any misunderstandings and future conflict.
