Brittany and Simon’s ceremony took place at the former Ocean Crystal Chapel (now known as Akala Chapel) at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. A beautiful elegant white chapel inside the heart of Waikiki. They fit perfectly into the chapel with the ladies dressed in shades of coral and the guys in crisp black. Following the ceremony was an intimate dinner at the Beachouse restaurant inside the Moana Surfrider Hotel.

I worked with Brittany and Simon over the span of a year and a half. It was the longest planning experience I’ve shared with a client since we started Aloha Bridal Connections and I LOVED IT!! They are so genuine and kind-hearted with a true respect and love for each other. They were flying overseas for this wedding with family and friends traveling from all over the world (UK, Australia, Canada). Through all of our planning, I felt like I had known them for years despite never having met in person before the wedding week. Thank goodness for video chat!

My favorite part about working with them is how they truly wanted the focus to be on their love for each other and spending time with their closest friends and family. They were not interested in the fuss of an extravagant wedding. The support they had from family and the wedding party was inspiring. Even with guests being from all over the world it seemed as if everyone was family gathered for the holidays.

Major thanks to the vendors who pulled it all together and for Derek Wong Photography for sharing the photos!!
