This wedding is one of our favorites for 2015. Andie and Adam did a brilliant job with selecting their vendors and secured one of the best venues on Oahu….Sunset Ranch!!! We can’t forget to mention that the groom and groomsmen stayed at the Volcom Surf house on the North Shore. ((pretty awesome)).

It was a romantic wedding with the perfect amount of character, decor and true love to pull it all together. They wanted a natural feel with tons of candles and flowers. Imagine ivory linens, mint napkins, burlap runners with lots of gold candles and vases. Flowers were full blooms of ivory and light pink with accents of greenery. All this was combined with the stunning property of Sunset Ranch. It was so beautiful that even junebug weddings featured this wedding last month. This is our first time being featured as a vendor on junebug and we couldn’t be more excited!

Lets get to the real details of the day. This couple decided to do a first look which means they are opting to see each other all dressed up before the wedding ceremony. This is becoming increasingly more common over the years and for a good reason! When a million emotions are stirring around on the big day some couples want to cherish the moment and share a private reveal with their future husband/wife.

As dreamy as this is all sounding so far, the reality wasn’t quite so perfect. It just so happens, the area where we took pictures had a million mosquitos swarming around. Even with bug repellant some people still react to these annoying insects. The bride had several bites on her back right before the ceremony and it caused a moment of panic. Several ice cubes and makeup touch ups later.. Andie was looking flawless and it was time to start the ceremony.

After the ceremony the couple was blessed with rain. Lots and lots of rain. The best part of it all is the couple and the guests didn’t even seem to be bothered. In fact it made for a killer photo shoot and the most romantic first dance we’ve seen all year. Andie and Adam are living proof that an endless amount of love can get you through anything on your wedding day. After all, that is what the wedding day should be all about.
