Planning a wedding can be a very stressful time. You’re so busy finding all of the vendors for your big day, creating the perfect blend of both spouses visions, all well worrying about staying within budget. We understand how stressful it can be and have come up with a few ways for you to try to de-stress.

Listen to Music
Music is a great way to change your mood. Listening to some calming music, such as classical or nature sounds can relax you and calm your mood.

Phone a Friend
Talking to a friend about whats going on and getting some help in the matter can help you to feel less bogged down and stressed about things.

Eat Right
What you eat can reflect how you feel. Fulling up on all of those sweet treats can cause you to feel slow and anxious. Instead try some healthy grains, fruits, and vegetables. Your body with thank you.

Laugh it Off
They say laughing is the best medicine and we have to agree. Getting a good laugh in, whether it’s from a sitcom, movie, or just hanging out with friends, will help to raise your stress fighting hormones and make you feel much better.

Exercise
Getting your heart pumping over something other than wedding plans may be just what you need. The endorphins that are released when you exercise can help to relive your stress and anxiety.

Sleep Better
Knowing there is so much to do may make if feel like there is no time for sleep, but that’s not true. Sacrificing sleep may be a cause of stress. Not allowing your body time to recharge will leave you with a clean slate to work with the next day.

Drink Tea
Studies show that people that drink tea are on average less stressed than people who don’t. So why not have a seat and sip on a nice cup of black tea.

Cuddle
Cuddling up to your other half isn’t just good for your relationship, but the physical touch is said to decrease stress. So cuddle up and feel the stress melt away.

Stay Organized
As hard as it may be, staying organized will help to relive stress. Keeping yourself from feeling overwhelmed with the things that need to be done by organizing what needs to be done in easy to see check lists can help to make everything seem manageable.

Delegate
Learn to let go! Often times as a wedding planner we have problems with couples letting go and trusting us to do the job we were hired to do. Let people lend a helping hand.
